REMACLASS SEBAGAI STRATEGI EDUKASI METODE AKUPRESURE UNTUK PENATALAKSANAAN DISMENORE PRIMER PADA REMAJA PUTRI
Abstract
Primary dysmenorrhea is a symptom that is often experienced by adolescent girls. These complaints include pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen and back. Management that is less than optimal can affect daily activities so that adolescent learning activities are less than optimal. This community service aims to increase knowledge in reducing primary dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls through REMACLASS. REMACLASS consists of stages of educational sessions about acupressure methods to reduce pain. The method applied includes the stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation carried out to partners. This activity was carried out for 2 days and was attended by 25 young women aged 16-18 years. REMACLASS includes providing education and demonstration of how to acupressure to reduce primary dysmenorrhea pain. The evaluation results from REMACLASS participants who took part in this activity showed great enthusiasm, which was marked by an increase in score results during the post test which showed that most (56%) had a score of 80-100. This activity is expected to be applied and socialized as an effort to reduce primary dysmenorrhea pain.
